Goraj Singh Tiwana was born in Village Tiwana, town of origin of his family in north eastern Punjab . His family owned farming lands and the idea of feeding Truck drivers who are back bone of Indian economy originated from abundance of grains and vegetables growing in there farms . His great grandfather opened " Dhaba Punjabi " in 1951 on Delhi / Amritsar Highway .

Mr Tiwana aims to promote and conserve biodiversity and help maintain ecological balance. His Knowledge of the product, sustainability and innovation are the values through which he plans to thrive at Dhaba Punjabi . Goraj Singh Tiwana Completed his management studies in business administration from Punjab University and diploma at Culinary Academy of India (Hyderabad) .Mr Tiwana started cooking and creating recipes at the age of 17 at his family owned dhaba and grocery shop . He was instrumental in introducing affordable wholesome meals for truck drivers .

Goraj Singh Tiwana migrated to Florida almost 39 years ago . He opened his first facility in 1988 in Coral Springs, FL Moti Mahal ).He introduced varius kind of Naan Breads and it was an instant sensation .One of his favorite things to do is set off on culinary escapades, driven by the urge to travel for food and study and relish gastronomical delight around the world. He has been in the food industry for over 39 YEARS .He frequently does food shows in different universities to teach students how to cook healthy meals .

He has successfully owned and operated several different Indian inspired restaurants and has been Instrumental in development of many fine restaurants .
